Heathen Tattoo

Michael is truly a great tattoo artist. Professional attitude and honest in his recommendations. Great studio. Clean and professional staff. We came from out of town and stopped by after reading all the positive reviews. Immediately greeted at the the door by the owner or manager. Scheduled an appointment with Michael the following week. Used to live in NM but have long moved on. Wanted a large Zia Tattoo on my chest. Showed Michael some ideas and he came up with a great design and proper placement. Focused on his job during the tattoo and not distracted by other conversations going on in the studio. Highly recommend the studio and Michael.

Derek has an amazing place and made my first time tattoo experience comfortable and easy. We were a family of three and were able to get in easily. He answered all of our questions and told some great stories while he worked. This man is clearly and artist but didn’t shy away from the simple work we were asking of him. The shop was extremely clean and comfortable. If there is a 2nd tattoo in my future, I would use him or any of his other artists without question.

My fiancé and I stopped by to talk to a couple artists about getting some work done. Micheal had spoken to me on the phone and was very helpful and gave us a really good feeling about this place. When we walked in they looked at our pictures of baby foot prints and were willing to get to work right away. Jason did a great job on the foot prints. Friendly conversation and really relaxed environment. We had our daughter with us. I know I know. Not the best place for a 2 year old. But we weren’t expecting instant work to be done. That being said. They were very cool about her being there. Micheal didn’t have enough time to get my tattoo going but he set me up for the very next day. He did an awesome job on my knuckles and was very light handed. He took his time on placement but got it dead on the first time. We will absolutely be returning and hopefully get some more work done by these guys. Awesome awesome place.
